A read on where a training layer fits in the FUZE awardee pipeline.
FUZE consolidated xTech, SBIR/STTR, TMI, and ManTech into one venture-style portfolio. xTech|Live runs at eMerge Americas with up to $600K in prizes and a Week of the Eagles demo slot at Fort Campbell. The 60 to 70 day contracting goal is the operating standard. The awardees on the other side of the stage often arrive without the documentation and ATO posture that goal requires. This page is a short note on what we saw and the first conversation we would like to have.
Most awardees automate the wrong things first.
About 60% of what a non-traditional defense awardee does every day is traditional code and database work. About 30% is rule-based logic. About 10% is a genuine AI problem. The job is sorting those three into the right layers before the clock starts.
Applied to a FUZE awardee, the map resolves quickly. Proposal libraries, test plans, after-action templates, and compliance evidence archives are database and code problems. DFARS, CMMC 2.0, ITAR gating, and ATO package routing are rule-based logic. The underlying technology (autonomy, EW, counter-UAS, energy resilience) is where the awardee's AI cycles should actually live.
A training layer that teaches new awardees to apply the 60 / 30 / 10 map to their own stack compresses their first ninety days and protects FUZE's 60 to 70 day contracting goal.
Correlation One, training enterprise learners for Pacific Life and Colgate-Palmolive. 1,500-plus trained since May 2025. Six thousand to nine thousand hours per year saved. Ninety-five percent still using the tools thirty days after the workshop. The delivery shape (cohort-based, compliance-aware, measurable outcome) is the natural analog for a FUZE awardee enablement program.

- Workflow hours savedDays compressed out of the 60 to 70 day contracting window
- 30-day adoptionAwardee readiness artifacts still in use at Phase II kickoff
The methodology is published.
Interpretable Context Methodology: Folder Structure as Agent Architecture, submitted to ACM TiiS. The core idea is that agent context can be organized as a layered filesystem with measurable gains in interpretability and reproducibility. Open source under MIT license.

Thirty minutes with Matt.
Bring one example of an awardee who stalled in the Phase II to program-of-record window. We walk the 60 / 30 / 10 map live and scope the first sprint for that cohort from there.
If the conversation lands somewhere else, Matt will say so on the call.
